3 cats were rounded up for alleged complaint of poo on staircases that turned out to be dog poo as witnessed by a resident in the block!

Dear Sir

May I reiterate that culling is never a long-term effective solution. It costs taxpayers' money, time, PREVIOUS LIVES, but in the end the problem (if there is indeed one) will return because there is no such thing as a vacuum without strays. What all of us need to do is investigate, apply the appropriate remedIES and always exercise COMPASSION and PATIENCE.

The recent case is one perfect example of culling without indepth investigation and engaging those who could help to assist and in the end, we found out that the community cats were not responsible for the droppings upstairs nor even in the void deck. I have been informed that an RC member was involved in this complain but he did not even try to contact the catfeeders even though he knew who they were. This is appalling as an RC member is supposed to assist in resolving issues among residents!

We truly appreciate to have your assurance that in future the catfeeders will be involved on any issues concering the community cats in the neighbourhood.

Yours faithfully
